City of Edinburgh (Mòr-bhaile Dhùn Èideann inside Gaelic) is one of 32 unitary council regions around Scotland. It borders onto West Lothian, Midlothian and East Lothian. Primarily comprised of the city itself, there are also a total of villages in the authority locality as well. Great deal of the Pentland Hills are based in the area too.
